The clips, which were used in Light Fixtures and Trim Panels was designed in CATIA-V5 and the analysis was run using LSDyna Software. A section of clips geometry and the car panel was taken as a rigid body and clip was given a displacement, which would allow it to snap into place and the Maximum Stress and Insertion of Force was studied.
